Having travelled for quite a bit and being a Chinese myself, I can relate on what you said. I have seen some behaviours that are… different I would say. I don’t mind it so much but sometimes, the behaviours cause inconvenience. And I’m not just saying the Chinese tourists. I’m Chinese-Indonesian and many Indonesians do the same.

As an example, when I lived in Bali, many times I encountered groups of Chinese tourists standing in circle, talking and discussing, in the middle of very narrow walking path. They blocked the whole path and seemed to be oblivious to people who had to walk in the main road for cars and motorcycles to avoid bumping into them.

The pictures taking and the other stuff is not a problem. I can totally understand. Of course we want memento when we experience new things. I just hope that tourists, not just Chinese or Indonesian, will develop more of a self-awareness and be a more conscious visitor.
