I am a crier too! I cried so much that my mom once told me I have to be stronger but why does crying mean weakness? I know understand that it doesn’t. I always feel good after I cry. It’s an emotional release. I even cry when I’m angry sometimes. I’m an oddball…

Sometimes, I would ask why when I’m told to do certain rituals or cultural practices that I think don’t make sense. But nobody seems to know the answer because all I’ve ever gotten is “because your ancestors/great-great-great grandparents did it.” I feel so puzzled at times…

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, Tammy. It really means a lot. I always love reading your stories. They really teach me how to be a better person :)
