It’s just so alarming what is being told in the news these days. Leaving so far away from the US, I rely heavily on the media to tell me what’s going on. I truly believe that the peaceful protests are the winning norm at the moment and that the violence I saw on the news I had attached on this piece is separate, distinct cases and not the norm. But it’s still so heartbreaking to watch and it confuses me. I felt like my head was going to explode watching the news these days. It throbs whenever I watch the news of US. I never ever saw it coming. I grew up in Indonesia where most of the protests are mild to terribly violent (there’s always breaking of stuff) but America… a superpower country. I feel shook…
