People seem to put a deadline on everything these days. It’s even worse in the society where I grew up. I’m 26 now and often when I go home, some relatives would tell me I should be married with kids now (typical Chinese family). Yet, I’ve seen some people who follow the so called timeline and not living a happy life. In the end, age is just a number.

About dancing in funeral, well, there’s this tribe in my hometown that parties for 3 nights when someone dies. No funeral. Just party, dancing and drinking and be merry. They believe that the deceased has lead a well-lived life and it should be celebrated. I, personally, would love my funeral to be a party with free burgers, free beers and music. Life, its beginning and end, should be celebrated.

Thank you for writing this and being the voice of many people who I believe feel the same way!
