Thank you so much, Jack! Funny story. I took a picture of a little shop once, the owner actually waved at me asking me to take again but with him smiling! Just thinking about it makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside! Just went through my harddrive but unfortunately I cannot find the photo 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have too many 😂 Now I’m thinking about doing a second Walk in the Souq.

Here’s the only thing I can find to show you how the local men generally dressed. The guy who walked in front of the camels. That’s like how the majority of the Qataris are dressed for men :)

For women, burqas — covering head to toes (sometimes not to toes). Sometimes the women only show the eyes, sometimes the face, something a thin veil even covering their eyes.

It’s very very fascinating :)
