This is why I avoid talking about why I broke up with my ex in the past with my family or friends or even acquaintances. I’m a firm believer than if a relationship ends, both parties are equally guilty so I’m not free from the blame too. It’s just that when you start talking about the reasons why you broke up, it’s difficult to keep ourselves in check because sometimes, even simple things might end up sounding like blaming the other person.
